Tier Two | Underwriting Series: #3

Third in the series of Great Field Underwriting - Tier Two carriers:

These No Exam, simplified underwriting plans, will allow you to help your non-Preferred clients get coverage faster and easier. If you properly field underwrite our client’s situation, most applications will be issued in a matter of days, not weeks.

Consider these options for your clients seeking smaller death benefits and that would likely be table rated up by a Tier One carrier due to weight, diabetes, sleep apnea, family health history, or other moderate health condition. These plans are either approved or declined. Table ratings are “built into the rates”.

Underwriting is all “digital”. Carriers pull reports such as the MIB, Driving Record, Rx Check, & others. If the reports coincide with the application questions, a policy is most likely approved. To screen your client, use the attached pdf titled “Tier Two APP Questions” check the underwriting manuals to see which carrier your client may qualify for.
